The Boat

I have absolutely no idea what kind of boat I'm going to buy. The boat in the background of this blog is just a pretty picture I found on the Internet at Morguefile.com.

I've got a $1,000 to $5,000 maximum budget to buy a boat, and that's if clients actually pay me, send the deposits they're promising or if I get my Go-Fund Me project launched. That alone will cost $1,500 to $3,000 to set up, but the gal doing it has a 97% success rate and $100,000 raised to date. If you want her name it will cost you $100. Once I have the boat I'll post lots of photos, I promise.

I'm scouring Craigslist for sailboats and houseboats like a divorcee scours the pages of eHarmony - looking for the perfect match. Only I don't know what a perfect match is. I don't know a junker boat and a slick tongued seller eager to unload a $3,000 junker versus an honest owner who wants to treat me fairly and make sure it's a win-win for us both. Sometimes I suck at judging people's honesty...

This is where I'll post what I learn, and ultimately, proud photos of what I've purchased.
